So I learned a few days ago that I was going to be nominated for Youtubes' April Partners On The RIse! Basically, YouTube chooses 4 partners who have less than 100k subscribers and lets their subscribers vote for them for the winner. The winner gets featured on YouTube's Homepage! Also I think they get featured on YouTube's Facebook. It's SUCH an honor, and an AMAZING opportunity. I have WAY less subscribers than the other guys BUT I still want to at least try! Help me out??

Target Haul w/ New Essie nail polish swatches!

I found this really cute/comfy crew neck sweatshirt in the pajamas section at Target but I am not going to wear it as PJ's. I would wear this with skinny jeans and a colorful accent like a bright red purse, hat or shoes. :) I love nautical type stuff.
At Target these nail polishes were SO EXPENSIVE. $7.49 I think, $7 something. Crazy, for a nail polish. I didn't even notice until I got home how expensive they were. My momma bought them for me since we were shopping together :). Love you mom!




These three photos below are "berry naughty", my favorite of the two. I love deep reds, plums, burgundies & maroons.♥







These last two are the color "wrapped in rubies". Looks better in person & yeah, I know my nail polish painting skillz SUCK! lol. That was done w/ my left hand...impossible to get perfect!

Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Stain

I have been wanting to try this out since I saw a behind the scenes runway thing where the makeup artists were using these on the models and it looked so beautiful! I only got one color, "In The Buff" and I love it! There are some cons though.

Pros:

● It's the PERFECT color. Seriously, if this came in a lipstick, lipgloss, blush blah blah blah I'd so buy it! It is like the color of my lips but just a tiny bit more pigmented! Sometimes I put on lipstick and the color just looks so phony on me and ridiculous. I like it when lip color looks natural (but it's not).

Well I guess that is the only pro, but really color is everything when it comes to lip sticks, stains, glosses right?

Cons:

● It stings my lips when I put it on, not so much that it hurts or anything, it feels like I'm putting a chemical on my lips.

● It doesn't stay on for very long! I have one of those Revlon lip stains and you cannot get those things off your lips! This is the opposite, too much licking your lips and it's gone in less than an hour.

●It feels drying. This lip stain doesn't come with a balm, unlike the Revlon lip stains. And it really does need a bit of balm either underneath or on top of it.


Although there are 3 cons, the beautiful color of this lip stain pretty much out weighs them!

Love it!

(Just not for everyday, perhaps lol)

New Blog

Hey Guys! I created a new blog. It's http://pacificpastime.blogspot.com/ and THAT is where I will be posting anything to do with art from now on. Please Follow it, I absolutely love blogging and it is just more fun when people are actually reading it! LOL I am really into blogging lately so except lots of posts from me. As for THIS blog, I am thinking of making it a blog all about my favorite subject: FOOD. hehe. I love trying new restaurants, new foods & items at the grocery store. I am a very healthy person but when I have a craving for something you better believe I go find that thing!! I love cooking & baking also so there will probably be some easy, fun, DELICIOUS recipes on here too. I have good taste in food, don't worry. As for outfits of the day and makeup/clothing reviews, things of that nature, I am not sure where to put them for now? Should I make a third blog just for that stuff? Or should I have it on one of these two blogs? I know some people are only going to want to read about art, or food, or fashion. I need a blog name if I do create a third blog. Decisions, decisions...
