October Favorite Foods

Ok so I'm the type of person who loves to save my money. I don't buy tons of clothes or makeup or things like that. Because I USED to be like that and after that phase I realized how much money I had wasted on clothes I don't even LIKE anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love love love fashion. If I had the FUNDING..lol... I would be dressed to impress 24/7. But, I don't and I would rather have money. What I do spend some of my money on though is food. I am a big FOODIE. I love food, love cooking, baking, eating...nom nom nom! I am always trying new things from the grocery store or new places to eat. Mexican and Italian are my favorites. But when I go to the grocery store I actually like shopping on the organic isle and trying new things they have there. A girl at my work introduced me to these Arizona Pomegranate Green Tea Iced Tea Stix. I absolutely love their pom. green tea that you can purchase in the bottle so I thought Hey, I'll try 'em. They are super delicious! I forget how much money they were but I got a box w/ 10 sicks in it and it must have been less than $5.00. So that's like 10 bottles of green tea! They taste just like the bottle. The only thing that is a BIT off is this tastes a little bit more SPLENDA-y than the bottled stuff. If you don't like splenda you might not LOVE this. I normally don't love splenda but I do really like these sticks!

Another thing I recently tried is BAKED chips. They have BAKED Dorito's BAKED Cheeto's & tons more. But those two are my favorites! They are SO much better for you than the originals and they taste just as great! I like the BAKED Cheeto's the best. They really do taste the same. The dorito's are a little "healthier" tasting ...but they still taste like dorito's. They have that addicting taste! :)

My Less Sugar, More Fruits & Veggies Diet. AKA Me Trying to be more healthy.

So last night after eating 9283 million dubble bubble pieces of gum & peanut m&ms (I almost just spelt that eminems hahaha) I decided I'm a fatty(not physically) but mentally. I eat WAY too much sugar! And carbs...and fat. But I'm not too worried about the fat because I don't have high blood pressure & it just seems more natural to eat fat than sugar. Even though sugar is grown...WHATEVER. It's confusing. But I know sugar can be very harmful to my body. If definitely makes me FEEL like a fat bastard that's for sure. And it makes me teeth feel nasty. So why do I eat it. I dunnooo?? It tastes sooo nummy! That's why! ANDD...I like to be munching on stuff when I'm bored or watching TV or on the internet. So that's gotta stop. I've heard before that sugar can cause premature wrinkles. Not Good!

So anyways this is what I ate today:

BREAKFAST:
I hate half a banana, then cut up the other half and added it to my oatmeal. I had a BIG bowl of oatmeal. And in my oatmeal I put: butter, milk, brown sugar, maple syrup, raisins, dried cranberries, almonds, aaand the 1/2 bananer.

So...yes I know I put a TON of stuff in my oatmeal. I only like it that way. Hey, if I'm gonna eat healthy I want to make sure I'm enjoying it. A little butter aint gonna kill me. ...And brown sugar ...and maple syrup. shut up.
And I had a large glass O' Water.

LUNCH:
First I ate a salad. Just greens & a hard boiled egg cut up. With Oil & Vinegar dressing. Then I ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Random lunch I know.

DINNER: Turkey burger & tater tots....not much to explain here. Hey at least it was turkey. And I didn't put cheese on it :/

NO DESSERT WOOHOO!! Even thought it's almost 11:30 and I COULD go for a bowl of cereal right about now but NO. I'm going to bed!

Soo That's That! Lemme know whatchyall think. ;-)

Am I weird or do you eat this too?!

Ever since I was little I've been eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches and peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. Is that weird??? Haha. I was watching Paula Dean on the Food Network and she said Elvis' favorite food was peanut butter and banana! And then she made it and I was like WHOA I thought my family was the only one who did that. Then I googles peanut and banana sandwhich and there were TONS of photos and stuff about it. So I guess PB & Banana isn't so weird. Have you guys every tried it??

If you haven't it's best this way:
One piece of whole wheat bread toasted, add the peanutbutter and chopped banana and top that warm gooey mess with a bit of honey. It's DELISH! To me 2 pieces of bread is too much but it is still good.

On the other hand I googled PB & Bologna and there were absolutely NO photo's of it. So I'm thinking my family is crazy for eating them...Actually I think I'm the only one who STILL eats them.

Style Icon: Lauren Conrad

Her style hasn't always been so chic (aka Laguna Beach days) but back then the way she dressed was considered "cute" too! NOW...she dresses like she has a personal stylist with her at all times. A good stylist! I love how girlie she is and even when she's casual she's cute!

I'm very important...I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany...

Must See Movie: Charlie St. Cloud

OMG OMG OMG! That's all I have to say. If you are not a fan of Zac Efron before this film...believe me. You WILL be after! I never thought of him as being a great actor, I suppose because was never into his other movies so much...but he really is. This is a tear jerking movie. But in a good way. And to top all that off there's a TWIST. A good twist. Who doesn't love a twist?!?! I wont spoil it but it's just such a good movie. And now I'm obsessed with Zac Efron. It was definitely worth the money I spent to see it at the movies. My advice: go see it!
